3. Permissions Used

  • INTERNET – Required to communicate with the TV over WiFi.
  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – Checks network connectivity.
  • ACCESS_WIFI_STATE – Detects WiFi network status.
  • CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE – Allows discovery of TVs on the local network.
  • VIBRATE – Provides haptic feedback for button presses.
  • WAKE_LOCK – Prevents the device from sleeping during remote usage.
  • FOREGROUND_SERVICE – Maintains stable connection while running in background.
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS – Displays notifications for updates and alerts.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – Ensures scheduled tasks continue after device restart.
  • SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM – Supports power scheduling and sleep timer.
  • RECORD_AUDIO – Used for optional voice control features (no audio is recorded or stored).

4. Third-Party Services

We use OneSignal for push notifications. OneSignal may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in their privacy policy.

5. Data Security

The App does not store personal data. Any communication with your TV is limited to network commands necessary for remote control.
