To function as a remote control, this app requires access to your local network to discover and connect to your Roku devices. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal IP address or network data to external servers. All device discovery happens locally on your phone.

  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE & ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Used to check if your phone is connected to WiFi and to verify that both your phone and Roku device are on the same network.
  • CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE: Used to discover Roku devices (via SSDP protocol) on your local network.

1.2. Haptic Feedback Data

  • VIBRATE: This permission is used solely to provide haptic feedback (vibration) when you press buttons on the remote interface. This data is processed locally on your device.

1.3. Personal Information

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, address, or phone number.

2. Third-Party Services and Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized ads.
